Website templates for Trae

Trae's builder mode creates a project from a description, so a VibeFather prompt gives it the full spec instead of a one-line idea.

    Install the VibeFather skill

    terminal
    npx skills add https://vibefather.ai -g -a trae

Or npx skills add https://vibefather.ai to pick several agents, or npx vibefather skill for all of them.

    Or connect the MCP server

In Trae's MCP settings, add a remote (Streamable HTTP) server named vibefather with this URL. No API key.

    Just ask

Ask Trae for a site — “a brutalist portfolio”, “a dark SaaS landing page”, or a template by name. It shows you options with live demos, asks for your details once and builds it. Use the builder (agent) mode, not chat, so Trae writes the files itself.

FAQ

Are these templates free to use with Trae?

For personal and non-commercial projects, yes: live demos, DESIGN.md files and most prompts are free under CC BY-NC 4.0. Commercial use, Pro-only prompts and source code come with Pro.

Do the templates only work in Trae?

No. The prompts are plain Markdown, so the same template works in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and other AI coding tools. Results vary a little between tools and models.

Which model built the demos?

Each template page says which model and tool built its live demo. We build it from the published prompt with nothing added.
