Website templates for GitHub Copilot

Copilot's agent mode in VS Code can build a template from the prompt and use the VibeFather MCP server as a tool.

  1. 01

    Install the VibeFather skill

    terminal
    npx skills add https://vibefather.ai -g -a github-copilot

    Or npx skills add https://vibefather.ai to pick several agents, or npx vibefather skill for all of them.

  2. 02

    Or connect the MCP server

    Add to VS Code
    .vscode/mcp.json
    {
      "servers": {
        "vibefather": {
          "type": "http",
          "url": "https://mcp.vibefather.ai"
        }
      }
    }

    Just ask

    Ask GitHub Copilot for a site — “a brutalist portfolio”, “a dark SaaS landing page”, or a template by name. It shows you options with live demos, asks for your details once and builds it. Switch the chat to Agent mode before pasting — Ask mode only answers, it won't create files.

FAQ

Are these templates free to use with GitHub Copilot?

For personal and non-commercial projects, yes: live demos, DESIGN.md files and most prompts are free under CC BY-NC 4.0. Commercial use, Pro-only prompts and source code come with Pro.

Do the templates only work in GitHub Copilot?

No. The prompts are plain Markdown, so the same template works in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf and other AI coding tools. Results vary a little between tools and models.

Which model built the demos?

Each template page says which model and tool built its live demo. We build it from the published prompt with nothing added.
