Website templates for Codex

Codex runs the prompt end to end in your terminal or the Codex app. Add the MCP server once and it can pick a template and pull its prompt itself.

  1. 01

    Install the VibeFather skill

    terminal
    npx skills add https://vibefather.ai -g -a codex

Or npx skills add https://vibefather.ai to pick several agents, or npx vibefather skill for all of them.

  2. 02

    Or connect the MCP server

    terminal
codex mcp add vibefather --url https://mcp.vibefather.ai
  3. 03

    Just ask

Ask Codex for a site — “a brutalist portfolio”, “a dark SaaS landing page”, or a template by name. It shows you options with live demos, asks for your details once and builds it. Put DESIGN.md in the project root next to AGENTS.md so Codex keeps the look consistent in later edits.

FAQ

Are these templates free to use with Codex?

For personal and non-commercial projects, yes: live demos, DESIGN.md files and most prompts are free under CC BY-NC 4.0. Commercial use, Pro-only prompts and source code come with Pro.

Do the templates only work in Codex?

No. The prompts are plain Markdown, so the same template works in Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf and other AI coding tools. Results vary a little between tools and models.

Which model built the demos?

Each template page says which model and tool built its live demo. We build it from the published prompt with nothing added.
